The Indianapolis Colts will hold a Hispanic Heritage Football Camp at Theodore Potter School 74 on Tuesday, October 7. The school is part of Indianapolis Public Schools and offers a dual language immersion program.

The event, sponsored by Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield, is aimed at students in grades two through five. It will include six stations focused on football fundamentals, using non-contact drills to help students develop skills and understanding of the game.

In addition to the sports activities, the Colts are making a donation to support literacy at School 74. Their contribution will be used for the school's annual book fair, where it will be converted into "Colts Cash" that students can use to choose books for their home libraries.

Team mascot Blue is scheduled to make an appearance and perform a show for the students. Members of the Colts’ Special Teams unit will also participate by reading stories to attendees.

"This event highlights the Colts’ commitment to celebrating culture, encouraging fitness, and promoting literacy among IPS students," according to organizers.
