Butler Women’s Tennis Picks Up Conference Win Over Seton Hall

Butler kicked off their Spring Break trip with a BIG EAST win over Seton Hall. The 4-3 decision began a week that will see the Bulldogs play three conference opponents on the USTA National campus in Florida.

After Seton Hall captured the doubles point, the Bulldogs responded by taking the necessary four courts to take the team win.

Natalie Boesing won at No. 1 singles, while Chase Metcalf, Norah Balthazor and Katie Beavin picked up wins on courts 3-5. Balthazor dropped the first set before rebounding in resounding fashion with a pair of 6-1 sets.

2. Schurhamer/Bruetting (Butler) def. Kempinski/Petrova, 6-3
