Catholic Schools Week: Jan. 30 – Feb. 3, 2023

BCHS celebrates Catholic Schools Week 2023, to honor our entire community: students, teachers, administration, support staff, pastors, alumni and parents who make our Catholic schools unique. This year’s theme is “Walking Together in Faith and Love” We will celebrate, worship, pray, and have fun together as members of a faith community rooted in Jesus Christ.

MONDAY, JAN. 30: CELEBRATING OUR COMMUNITY

•    Saint of the Day: St. Mother Theodore Guerin

•    Dress: Charity Spirit Day supporting BCHS 4 Kids Dance-A-Thon and Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital. Students/Staff who participate can wear BCHS Spiritwear.

Jeans and sweatpants are acceptable. Cost: $2 donation

TUESDAY, JAN. 31: CELEBRATING OUR STUDENTS

•    Saint of the Day: St. Thomas Aquinas

•    Dress: Pajama Day

•    Pancake Breakfast before school – 7am in Cafeteria

WEDNESDAY, FEB. 1: CELEBRATING THE NATION

•    Saint of the Day: St. Elizabeth Ann Seton

•    Dress: Red, White, & Blue Day

•    Catholic Schools Week Mass with Archbishop at Ss. Peter & Paul Cathedral – 10:30 a.m. A small group of BCHS students will attend.

THURSDAY, FEB. 2: CELEBRATING VOCATIONS

•    Saint of the Day: Venerable Augustus Tolton

•    Dress: Regular School Uniform

•    All School Mass.

•    St. Theodora Excellence in Education Award Presentation to Amanda Horan (OCS)

FRIDAY, FEB. 3: CELEBRATING FACULTY, STAFF AND VOLUNTEERS

•    Saint of the Day: St. John Bosco

•    Dress: Dress like your favorite Teacher/Staff Member

•    Eucharistic Adoration (Theology Department)
