61 percent of applicants to Marian University were admitted for fall 2018

At Marian University, 74 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 63 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private not-for-profit institution in Indianapolis enrolled 3,592 students in fall 2018, including 2,428 in undergraduate and 1,164 in graduate programs, data shows. 12.3 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

85 percent of undergraduates are residents of Indiana, and 13 percent are residents of other states.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (72 percent) and Black or African American (10 percent).

The school admitted 61 percent of the 2,325 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 30 percent enrolled.
