Applications are now open for the Indiana House Page Program for the 2025 legislative session at the Statehouse in Indianapolis. This opportunity is available to Hoosier students aged 13 to 18, as announced by State Representatives David Abbott and Craig Snow.

Abbott encourages young students to participate, stating, "The House Page Program is a unique experience that young Hoosiers should not pass up. Students can meet and work alongside lawmakers and learn more about the state legislature firsthand."

The program allows students to assist lawmakers and staff, tour the Indiana Statehouse, and observe legislative sessions. Applications can be submitted via IndianaHouseRepublicans.com/PageProgram. The session commenced on January 8 and will conclude by April 29.

Snow also supports the initiative: "The page program is great for young Hoosiers as they are able to meet with local leaders and see the legislative process. All students can gain valuable knowledge by paging at the Statehouse."

Students interested in participating can choose from Mondays, Tuesdays, or Thursdays during the session, receiving an excused absence from school. Larger groups have designated Wednesdays for participation. For group scheduling, contact details include calling 317-232-9410 or emailing pageprogram@iga.in.gov.

Participants must arrange their own lunch and transportation to Indianapolis.
