Applications are now open for the Indiana House Page Program during the 2025 legislative session at the Statehouse in Indianapolis. This announcement was made by State Representative Bruce Borders, who represents Jasonville.

Borders highlighted that students from Indiana, aged between 13 and 18, are invited to participate in this program. The initiative offers students a chance to assist lawmakers and staff, tour the Indiana Statehouse, and observe the legislative process.

"Young Hoosiers can gain an incredible perspective on the legislature by participating in the House page program," said Borders. "This program allows students to see how their government operates and meet the people who represent them."

The application form is available on IndianaHouseRepublicans.com/PageProgram. The site also lists available days for participation during the 2025 legislative session, which begins on January 8 and concludes by April 29.

Students interested in participating can choose to page on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays throughout the session. They will receive an excused absence from school for their participation. Large groups have a designated day of Wednesday to join in. To arrange group visits, contact can be made with the page program director at 317-232-9410 or via email at pageprogram@iga.in.gov.

Participants must manage their own lunch arrangements and transportation to and from the Statehouse in Indianapolis.
