Applications are now open for the Indiana House Page Program for the 2025 legislative session at the Statehouse in Indianapolis, as announced by State Representative J.D. Prescott (R-Union City).
Prescott extended an invitation to Hoosier students aged 13 to 18 to participate in a day of activities that include assisting lawmakers and staff, touring the Indiana Statehouse, and observing the legislative process.
“It’s always a highlight of session when local students serve as pages at the Statehouse,” Prescott stated. “This program offers a unique chance to better understand the lawmaking process while learning how decisions impact their communities. If you or someone you know is interested, encourage them to sign up and get involved!”
The application process is currently live, with details available on IndianaHouseRepublicans.com/PageProgram. The page program will run during the legislative session starting January 8 and concluding by April 29.
Students can choose to participate on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays throughout the session and will be granted an excused absence from school. Large groups have designated participation days on Wednesdays only. For group scheduling, contact can be made through phone at 317-232-9410 or via email at pageprogram@iga.in.gov.
Participants are responsible for arranging their own lunch and transportation to and from Indianapolis' Statehouse.
