Applications are now open for the Indiana House Page Program during the 2025 legislative session at the Statehouse in Indianapolis. This announcement comes from State Representative Lorissa Sweet, who represents Wabash.

Rep. Sweet invites Hoosier students aged 13 to 18 to participate in this program, which offers a chance to assist lawmakers and staff, tour the Indiana Statehouse, and observe legislative sessions.

"Paging at the Statehouse gives students a behind-the-scenes look at what happens on a daily basis during the legislative session," said Rep. Sweet. "I encourage eligible Hoosiers from my district to not wait and sign up as soon as possible."

Students interested in participating can find applications and available dates at IndianaHouseRepublicans.com/PageProgram. The legislative session begins on January 8 and concludes by April 29.

The program allows students to page on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays, with an excused absence from school provided. Large groups have the option to participate on Wednesdays only. For group scheduling, contact the page program director at 317-232-9410 or via email at pageprogram@iga.in.gov.

Participants must arrange their own lunch and transportation to and from the Statehouse in Indianapolis.
