There were two gas stations in cities across Marion County selling regular gas at the lowest price of $3.39 per gallon in the week ending Apr. 27, according to GasBuddy.com.

The average cost of regular gas in cities within Marion County was $3.49 per gallon.

Of the 13 gas stations in cities within Marion County, five offer regular gas.

The $3.63 average price of regular gas in Indiana was unchanged from the previous week.

Experts predict gasoline prices could drop below $3 this year before rebounding closer to $4 by year's end. GasBuddy forecasted a national average of $3.38 per gallon, down from $3.51. An outlook published in late 2023 suggests that gas rates will continue to fall in 2024.
