Dr. Nicholas Hollenkamp | Indianapolis Sinus Center

Dr. Nicholas Hollenkamp of Indianapolis Sinus Center said his office is able to do more testing and diagnostics in the office now than they have in the past.

Indianapolis Sinus Center offers a Sinus Self-Assessment Quiz, where you can select symptoms you experience that could be related to sinusitis and receive a score that represents how much your sinuses impact your quality of life. Some of the symptoms are directly associated with the sinuses, such as congestion and experiencing nasal drainage, while other symptoms may seem more mental or psychological, such as fatigue or lack of ability to concentrate.

“We do CT scans and allergy testing,” Hollenkamp told Indy Standard. “It's coordinated for a lot of the patients in the workup with the chronic sinus symptoms. We like to get the allergy testing, and we like to get the CT scan to help figure out the best treatment path for them. We have a CT scanner in the office. The beauty of that is they can come in, they can do their CT scan and they can have their office visit at the same time. It makes the flow go better.”

Hollenkamp earned his undergraduate degree from Miami University in Ohio before earning his medical degree from the Indiana University School of Medicine. He completed his internship in general surgery at Methodist Hospital and his residency in otolaryngology-head and neck surgery at the Indiana University Medical Center. He specializes in treating patients who suffer from sinusitis, allergies and sleep disorders, and he offers the innovative balloon sinuplasty procedure.

Indianapolis Sinus Center offers a variety of ear, nose and throat (ENT) treatments to help provide permanent relief to patients suffering from allergies, sinus problems and sleep apnea. The practice offers the latest innovative solutions, such as balloon sinuplasty and VivAer. The office is located on East County Line Road in Greenwood.
