This Week in GLVC Outdoor Track & Field: Apr. 11-17
The Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) outdoor track and field week gets started Thursday and goes through Saturday this weekend.
Indianapolis, Southern Indiana, and Illinois Springfield will be sending athletes to the Mt. SAC Relays out in Torrance, Calif., to compete later this week. USI will also be sending athletes over to Asuza, Calif., along with Drury for the Bryan Clay Invitational while Lewis joins in on the West Coast fun when they are at the Cal State LA Twilight Open. Truman State will stay closer to home as they participate in the Jim Duncan Invitational at Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa.
Quincy, Southwest Baptist, William Jewell, Drury, and Lindenwood will go to Warrensburg, Mo., to the campus of Central Missouri to compete. McKendree and Missouri-St. Louis will be going to Greenville, Ill., for the Greenville Select Invitational.
Only five teams will be in action Saturday with Southwest Baptist, Maryville, and Missouri S&T all in Rolla for the Dewey Allgood Invitational. Lewis will be splitting up their teams between California at the Long Beach State Invite and Benedictine Invite back home in Illinois. UIndy will be going closer to home as well when they go to the Ball State Outdoor Track & Field Meet in Muncie.
