On October 18, 2025, Shreve referenced new legislative efforts targeting international crime, stating, "My Dismantling Foreign Scam Syndicates Act imposes tough sanctions on corrupt foreign officials and transnational criminal networks that steal from hardworking Americans. This week, the @USTreasury took meaningful steps to sanction criminal networks preying on our citizens".
Three days later, on October 21, 2025, Shreve shared details of a visit to a major manufacturing facility in Indiana: "I toured the Toyota Material Handling plant in Columbus for an up-close look at what makes them the global leader in forklift production and sales. Headquartered right here in Bartholomew County, Toyota continues to invest in Hoosier workers — with another major expansion". Toyota Material Handling is recognized as a significant employer in Bartholomew County and has previously announced investments aimed at expanding its operations and workforce in Indiana.
Later that same day, Shreve addressed concerns about constitutional rights during potential government shutdowns. He wrote, "Our constitutional rights don’t take a break — even during a shutdown. I joined colleagues in urging that NFA applications continue to be processed, ensuring Americans’ 2A freedoms are upheld." The National Firearms Act (NFA) regulates certain types of firearms at the federal level; processing of related applications can be delayed during government shutdowns, which has been a recurring issue debated by lawmakers.
