Congressman Jefferson Shreve, U.S. Representative for Indiana's 6th congressional district, shared updates on recent engagements in a series of posts on his official X (formerly Twitter) account.

On October 16, 2025, Shreve participated in a policy discussion hosted by the Indiana Chamber of Commerce. He wrote, "I joined colleagues at the @IndianaChamber policy discussion to share how we can keep delivering for Hoosiers. I appreciate our shared commitment to championing #CD6. Even amid the government shutdown, our work to serve Hoosiers continues. "

The following day, October 17, 2025, Shreve attended a ribbon-cutting event at Elanco's new headquarters in Indianapolis. He posted, "I joined leaders at @Elanco in Indy to celebrate the ribbon-cutting of their new state-of-the-art headquarters. It’s a major investment driving innovation, creating jobs, and showcasing Hoosier excellence in action." Elanco is an animal health company with a significant presence in Indiana and has been involved in several economic development projects aimed at expanding local employment opportunities.

Later that same day, Shreve marked another community milestone by attending the groundbreaking ceremony for renovations at Franklin College’s Elwood Fitness Center during Homecoming weekend. In his post he stated, "The historic Elwood Fitness Center at Franklin College is getting a complete makeover! Honored to join the Grizzlies during Homecoming weekend for the groundbreaking of this transformational project — a big step forward for campus life. " Franklin College is known as a private liberal arts institution located south of Indianapolis and frequently hosts community-oriented events.
