Congressman Jefferson Shreve posted a series of messages on social media in September 2025, addressing both the assassination of Charlie Kirk and commemorating the anniversary of the September 11 attacks.

On September 10, 2025, Shreve wrote, "Heartbreaking news of the assassination of Charlie Kirk. He was a young leader of America’s conservative movement. More importantly, he was a husband, father, son — an inspiration to many. I offer my prayers for his family. And I pray for peace."

The following day marked the anniversary of the September 11 terrorist attacks. On September 11, 2025, Shreve reflected on his memories from that day in 2001: "Two dozen years ago — on a beautiful fall morning much like this one — I sat in my office in disbelief as the horrors of 9/11 unfolded. I will never forget. May WE never forget."

Later that same day, Shreve shared another update about his participation in official congressional proceedings: "Speaker Johnson gaveled in the House on this solemn 9/11 morning. I was humbled to be asked to lead the Pledge of Allegiance on this day."

Jefferson Shreve is a member of Congress who regularly shares updates regarding national events and personal reflections through his public communications.
