Indianapolis Public Schools launches youth pickleball club for students

Indianapolis Public Schools has announced the launch of a youth pickleball club, which will be led by instructors from Vamos Pickleball. The program is designed to teach students key aspects of the sport, including footwork, strokes, volleys, scoring, and game strategy.

The club is open to students interested in competing in tournaments as well as those who want to play recreationally with friends. According to the district, safety will be emphasized throughout the sessions, with certified instructors overseeing all activities.

"Students will learn proper footwork, strokes, volleys, scoring, and game strategy in a safe, energetic environment," the district stated. "Safety is the top priority, with certified instruction throughout."
