Congressman Jefferson Shreve, who serves Indiana's 6th congressional district and is a member of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, recently shared updates on national security and agriculture via his official Twitter account.

On July 18, 2025, Shreve highlighted his involvement with the Republican Study National Security Task Force. He wrote, "I serve on the @RepublicanStudy National Security Task Force. Our mission is to prioritize policies focused on our nation’s defense. This week, we met with CIA Director John Ratcliffe on some of the front and center issues facing America’s intelligence community. Our intel needs https://t.co/o0YiooaaSh".

On July 21, 2025, Shreve addressed agricultural concerns following a meeting with Randy Kron, president of Indiana Farm Bureau. In his post he stated, ".@INFarmBureau’s president Randy Kron was on Capitol Hill. It’s always helpful to compare notes on our #CD6 farm economy. Hoosier farmers are well represented under Randy’s leadership. We’re working together — to take care of our growers back home! https://t.co/nSMWR6mPOQ".

Later that same day, Shreve commented on foreign policy challenges by referencing growing security threats in the Western Hemisphere linked to Iran. He posted: "As a member on @HouseForeignGOP, I’ve learned of the growing threat the Iranian regime poses in our own hemisphere. I introduced the BANNED in Latin America Act with @RepJoshG to address the rising threat of terrorist operations and Iranian influence in our Western Hemisphere."

Shreve has served as an advocate for both national security measures and support for local agriculture during his time in Congress. As a member of relevant committees such as House Foreign Affairs and various caucuses supporting rural economies and defense priorities, he frequently collaborates with fellow lawmakers and state leaders.
