State Rep. Lori Goss-Reaves of Marion has been appointed to serve on interim study committees that will convene during the summer and fall. These committees aim to explore policy issues and propose solutions.
Legislators are expected to gather testimony from the public, experts, and stakeholders as they prepare bill recommendations for the legislative session starting in January.
Goss-Reaves will participate as a member of the Interim Study Committee on Public Health, Behavioral Health, and Human Services, as well as the Indiana Recycling Market Development Board.
“Each year these committees give us the chance to take a close look at how policies affect our communities, health and environment,” Goss-Reaves said. “It’s important to listen, learn and work together to find practical solutions that help Hoosiers and protect our future.”
Information about the 2025 legislative interim study committee assignments and topics is available online. Legislative appointments for each committee can also be accessed there. Committee hearings and agendas are posted on the Indiana General Assembly's website at iga.in.gov.
