André Carson, a U.S. Congressman representing Indiana's 7th district, has recently shared his thoughts on various issues through a series of tweets. His messages touch upon the impact of political extremism, personal reflections on Father's Day, and his legislative achievements for Indianapolis.

On June 14, 2025, Carson expressed his concern for the situation in Minnesota. He stated "My heart is with my Midwestern neighbors in Minnesota. It’s clear that political extremism has helped shape a culture of violence, and the consequences are devastating." He also conveyed prayers for Melissa Hortman and her family as well as Senator Hoffman and Yvette's recovery.

The following day, June 15, 2025, Carson took to social media to acknowledge Father's Day. He tweeted "Today, I’m grateful for all the fathers and father figures. Happy Father’s Day!" sharing gratitude towards paternal figures.

On June 16, 2025, Carson highlighted his efforts in Congress to benefit Indianapolis. He wrote "Our communities deserve results. That's why I fight hard in DC to deliver for Indianapolis," noting that he has had "22 of my bills signed into law and $1 billion secured for our city."

André Carson has been serving in Congress since replacing Julia Carson in 2008 after previously serving on the Indianapolis City-County Council from 2007 to 2008. Born in Indianapolis in 1974 and an alumnus of Concordia University Wisconsin with a BA earned in 2003, he continues to reside in his hometown.
