On June 3, 2025, Carson addressed recent violent incidents by stating "With two disturbing attacks so close to each other, each tragedy — and the rise of hate crimes in our country — need to be fully investigated." He condemned these attacks and antisemitism while extending his prayers to the victims.
Later that day, he participated in a community empowerment event titled "Buy Back My Block." In his post, he remarked "Buy Back My Block is about ownership, but it’s not just about housing – it’s about power and community." He expressed gratitude towards attendees and organizer Shanta Davidson for their contributions to the event.
On June 4, 2025, Carson shared information about an ongoing aviation hearing led by @TransportDems. He noted "Happening Now: @TransportDems Aviation hearing on implementing safety provisions already signed into law." Highlighting the urgency of addressing lapses in aviation safety measures this year.
Carson was born in Indianapolis in 1974 and graduated from Concordia University Wisconsin with a BA in 2003. Before joining Congress, he served on the Indianapolis City-County Council from 2007 to 2008.
