Cold Spring School, part of the Indianapolis Public Schools (IPS), will send five teams to the VEX World Robotics Tournament in Dallas, Texas, from May 6 to May 14. This follows a strong performance at the Indiana State VEX Robotics Tournament on March 22. Chief Operating Officer Cody Stipes reported that all seven school teams qualified for the state competition, emphasizing the strength of Cold Spring's robotics program.
Stipes highlighted that among the 30 teams from Indiana advancing to the World Championship, Cold Spring's five teams comprise the largest contingent from any single school or program in the state. "We are incredibly proud of our students for their dedication, teamwork, and innovation," Stipes stated. "Their success showcases Cold Spring’s commitment to STEM excellence, and we can’t wait to see them compete on the world stage in May. Congratulations to our talented robotics teams, and a huge thank you to our dedicated coaches, David and Gen Petty, for their leadership and support."
The Cold Spring teams will aim to further this success on the international stage at the VEX World Robotics Tournament.
