IPS announces racial equity summit focusing on diversity and inclusion

Indianapolis Public Schools (IPS) will co-host the 2025 Racial Equity & Inclusion Summit on March 15. The event aims to unite educators, parents, students, and community members to discuss and promote equity and inclusion.

The summit's theme is "Diversity, Perspective, Common Goals: Achieving Equity Together." It focuses on fostering meaningful conversations and actions towards a fair and inclusive society.

Scheduled for March 15 at Martin University, located at 2186 N. Sherman Dr., the summit is free and open to the public. It will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., with doors opening at 8 a.m.

Keynote speakers will address attendees before workshops commence. These workshops are designed to explore the theme in depth, providing participants with insights to help create an equitable environment for students, staff, and families.
