Applications are now open for the Indiana House Page Program during the 2025 legislative session at the Statehouse in Indianapolis. State Representatives Bruce Borders and Bob Heaton announced that students aged 13 to 18 can apply to spend a day assisting lawmakers, touring the Indiana Statehouse, and observing legislative sessions.

"Young Hoosiers can gain an incredible perspective on the legislature by participating in the House page program," stated Borders. "This program allows students to see how their government operates and meet the people who represent them."

Applications are available at IndianaHouseRepublicans.com/PageProgram. The 2025 legislative session begins on January 8 and concludes by April 29.

Heaton added, "Paging at the House of Representatives is a memorable experience for students to witness the legislative process up close. It's an exciting opportunity for young Hoosiers to learn about state government and meet with their representative."

Students may page on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays during the session and will receive an excused absence from school. Larger groups can participate on Wednesdays only. To arrange group visits, contact the page program director at 317-232-9410 or pageprogram@iga.in.gov.

Participants must arrange their own lunch and transportation to and from the Statehouse in Indianapolis.
