Indiana Latino Expo Mayor’s Breakfast
Mayor Collier was honored to be a guest speaker at this year’s Indiana Latino Expo Mayor’s Breakfast at the Willows Event Center this morning.
The focus of the event was how cities embrace and reflect the rich cultural heritage of their Latino community members, support Latino businesses, and how workforce development plans have been created to harness native Spanish-speaking workers.
Lawrence has a much larger Latino population than most Indiana cities, and Mayor Collier discussed his initiatives to help them feel included and welcome!
