Broadway United Methodist Church recently issued the following announcement.
Have you ever wondered what it means to be a Roving Listener? Broadway congregation members, neighbors, and friends of all ages are invited to join us on Saturday, October 9th from 1:00 – 3:00pm for an introduction to Roving. We’ll spend the first hour discussing the purpose and methods used to name, connect, celebrate, and bless the gifts of our neighbors. The second hour we will go out and visit a neighbor where our Youth Rovers will model for us how Roving works. You will then be invited back to put what you’ve learned into action on Saturday, October 23rd, from 1:00 – 3:00pm for an afternoon of Roving our neighborhood.
