André Carson, a U.S. Congressman representing Indiana's 7th district, has been active on social media, sharing his thoughts and positions on various issues. His recent tweets cover topics from Mother's Day celebrations to significant legislative matters.

On May 11, 2025, Carson extended warm wishes to mothers across the nation. He stated, "Happy Mother's Day to all the amazing moms who uplift our families and strengthen our communities. Thank you for all you do. Today, we celebrate you."

Two days later, on May 13, 2025, Carson expressed concerns over proposed budget cuts by Republicans that would impact healthcare services for millions of Americans. He remarked on the importance of continued advocacy against these measures: "This is what democracy looks like...Republicans’ budget would cut healthcare for 14 million Americans. The pressure is working, but we have to keep it up to stop these extreme Medicaid cuts."

On May 14, 2025, Carson highlighted the achievements of the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law and called for ongoing efforts in infrastructure development. He mentioned an event organized by Transport Democrats aimed at discussing future priorities with House colleagues: "The Bipartisan Infrastructure Law made historic investments in roads, bridges, transit, and rail. Let’s keep it going! Today,@TransportDems welcome House colleagues to share what matters to their communities for the next surface reauthorization."

André Carson has served in Congress since succeeding Julia Carson in 2008 after serving briefly on the Indianapolis City-County Council. Born in Indianapolis in 1974 and a graduate of Concordia University Wisconsin with a BA earned in 2003, he continues to reside in his hometown.
