Indianapolis Public Schools (IPS) has announced the launch of FAFSA Family Filing Nights, a series of events designed to help students and their families complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid. These sessions will run from January to April and aim to simplify the financial aid application process, ensuring that students have access to necessary resources for higher education.

To participate, families must have a FAFSA login ID, which can be created at https://studentaid.gov/fsa-id/create-account/launch. They will also need their Social Security Number, or Alien Registration number if applicable, 2023 Federal Income Tax Return, W2s, and any other supporting documents. The deadline for FAFSA applications is April 15.

In addition to these events, IPS will take part in College Goal Sunday on February 25 from 2-4 p.m. at Arsenal Tech High School. This event is Indiana’s largest FAFSA filing event. Students attending College Goal Sunday who complete the required form will have a chance to win educational prizes.
