The deadline for applications to the Indiana House Republican internship program is approaching, as announced by State Representative Bruce Borders. Interested candidates have until October 31 to apply for this opportunity, which takes place during the 2025 legislative session.

This full-time internship runs from Monday to Friday at the Statehouse in Indianapolis, beginning in January and concluding in April. Interns will receive $900 biweekly and may earn academic credit through their educational institutions.

"House internships are a unique way to get a front row seat to how laws are made," said Borders. "For those interested in government or wanting to further their professional experience, this is a great opportunity."

Eligible applicants include college sophomores, juniors, seniors, graduate students, and recent graduates from all majors. They can submit their applications online at indianahouserepublicans.com/internship before the deadline.

The internship offers additional benefits such as free parking, career development assistance, and access to an Indiana government class. Interns may also apply for a $3,000 scholarship aimed at supporting undergraduate and graduate expenses.

Participants will have the chance to work in various departments that align with their fields of study, including legislative operations, policy-making, and communications.
