The deadline for applying to the Indiana House Republican internship is approaching, as announced by State Representative Sharon Negele (R-Attica). Applications must be submitted by October 31 for the full-time internship available during the 2025 legislative session. The program will run from January to April and takes place at the Statehouse in Indianapolis.

Interns will work Monday through Friday, earning $900 biweekly. Participants may also receive academic credit from their college or university. She encouraged college students and recent graduates to apply for this opportunity.

Eligible applicants include college sophomores, juniors, seniors, graduate students, and recent graduates of all majors. They can complete their applications online at indianahouserepublicans.com/internship before October 31.

The internship provides free parking, career development assistance, and access to an Indiana government class. Interns can also apply for a $3,000 scholarship toward undergraduate or graduate expenses. The program offers placements in various departments such as legislative operations, policy, and communications.
