Indianapolis Public Schools (IPS) will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 24, to introduce a new primary care clinic in partnership with Ascension St. Vincent. The myIPS Employee & Family Clinic, located at T.C. Howe Middle School, offers comprehensive healthcare services for IPS employees and their families.

The clinic was announced in June during the groundbreaking ceremony for facility improvements at Howe Middle School, which reopened in August as part of the district’s Rebuilding Stronger initiative. This state-of-the-art medical facility represents a significant investment in the health and well-being of IPS staff.

“The myIPS Employee & Family Clinic provides convenient, high-quality healthcare services to IPS employees and their families,” said Christina Aden Hamer, IPS chief human resources officer. “This initiative marks a significant step toward enhancing the well-being of our entire IPS community.”

“We are thrilled to partner with Ascension St. Vincent, a leader in healthcare, to bring this invaluable resource to our employees and their families,” Aden Hamer added. “Their extensive experience in providing employee health services makes them an ideal partner for this initiative.”

The clinic is staffed by healthcare professionals from Ascension St. Vincent known for their expertise and compassionate care.

“Today we are pleased to celebrate the grand opening of this newly designed wellness center, the myIPS Employee & Family Clinic," said Stephan Masoncup, JD, Chief Strategy Officer for Ascension St. Vincent. “As a health ministry, we see firsthand the importance of primary prevention, access to counseling and a focus on health education," Masoncup added.
