The Indianapolis Colts, in collaboration with Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield, are set to celebrate National Hispanic Heritage Month by hosting a special event at Clarence Farrington School 61 on September 17. The event will feature both a Hispanic Heritage book fair and a football skills camp aimed at inspiring students academically and athletically.
Colts players, cheerleaders, and staff will participate in the activities. At the book fair, students will have the opportunity to select two free books to encourage a love for reading. Colts Cheerleaders will be available for photos and autographs, adding an element of excitement to the day. Additionally, time has been allocated for individual reading sessions to promote literacy and personal growth.
For students in grades 2-5, the Colts will conduct a football camp focusing on fundamental skills across six different position stations. The camp is designed with non-contact drills to enhance students' understanding of football techniques and terminology while promoting teamwork and physical fitness.
