On May 7, 2024, U.S. Senator Todd Young and a bipartisan group of Senate colleagues introduced a resolution to designate the day as National Fentanyl Awareness Day. This bipartisan initiative aims to highlight and educate the public about the dangers posed by counterfeit fentanyl pills.
"Our resolution acknowledges the devastating impact fentanyl is having on communities in Indiana and across our nation and encourages efforts to combat the distribution of this deadly drug," said Senator Young.
