Census Bureau: 75.2% of people in Marion County were old enough to vote in 2021

Of the 969,542 citizens living in Marion County in 2021, 75.2% were old enough to vote, equating to 728,632 individuals, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained on Oct. 26.

Further breakdown reveals that of the voting-eligible population, 345,923 were male, constituting 47.5%, and 382,709 were female, making up 52.5%.

The percentage of citizens old enough to vote in Marion County during 2021 was lower than the state average, which stands at 76.4%.
