Bishop Chatard High School recently issued the following announcement.
In connection with this year’s Jack Shockley Warriors for Peace Memorial Blood Drive, the group is collecting new/gently used children’s books to support “Christmas With a Purpose,” a program run by Purpose 4 My Pain, an organization that supports those personally affected by gun violence.
The books will be distributed to single parents/grandparents left to raise children/grandchildren due to gun violence.
Place your donated books in the blue and white box outside of Campus Ministry until December 9. Thank you for your support. Please pray for an end to violence in our city and all over the world.
