Christopher Doleman born October 16, 1961
Christopher Doleman was born on October 16, 1961. He played defensive end in the NFL. He started his college football career at the University of Pittsburgh. He was later drafted by the Minnesota Vikings in 1985. He became known for his pass rushing. In 1989, he recorded 21 sacks in a single season. He also played for the Atlanta Falcons and San Francisco 49ers. Doleman returned to the Vikings for his final season in 1999. He was an eight-time Pro Bowl selection and made the All-Pro team several times. He finished his career with 150.5 sacks. He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2012. In later years, he lived part-time in the Indianapolis area and maintained professional connections there. His life and career are remembered each year in communities including Indianapolis.
