On Sunday, Feb. 9, former Roncalli High School standout Lyla Blackwell’s college team won in an NCAA Division I softball game

On Sunday, Feb. 9, former Roncalli High School standout Lyla Blackwell’s current college team, the Virginia Tech Hokies, won 10-0 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the College of Charleston Cougars.

The game took place at Patriots Point Athletics Complex. This was their second matchup against the Cougars this season.

The Hokies’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 14 at 12 p.m. at Tiger Park against UT Arlington Mavericks.
