Sunday, Feb. 23: Southport High School standout Landon Godsey’s college team loses to Kentucky Wildcats

On Sunday, Feb. 23, former Southport High School standout Landon Godsey’s current college team, the Belmont Bruins, lost 9-5 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Kentucky Wildcats.

The game took place at E.S. Rose Park. This was their third matchup against the Wildcats this season.

The Bruins’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 25 at 3 p.m. at Ken Dugan Field against Lipscomb Bisons.
