Adams County resident Jada Isch is gaining professional experience interning with State Representative Matt Lehman and other members of the Indiana House of Representatives during the 2025 legislative session.
Isch, who graduated from Adams Central High School, is the daughter of Katie and Greg Isch. She currently studies at Indiana University Indianapolis, pursuing a major in social work and a minor in psychology.
"This internship at the Statehouse has allowed me to grow my writing skills, expand my legislative knowledge and develop new friendships and connections that will help me in my future endeavors," Isch stated. She added, "I'm thankful for the opportunity to work alongside my peers and legislators to help me grow as an individual both professionally and personally."
In her role as a communications intern, Isch assists in drafting news releases, preparing handouts for legislators, and creating email newsletters for constituents.
State Representative Lehman commented, "Jada is developing fundamental skills and making important connections that will open help open the door for future employment opportunities. Communications interns like her are incredibly helpful to members, staff and constituents throughout the legislative session."
