McCordsville's Julia Sant'Anna is gaining experience at Indiana's Statehouse, working with State Representative Chris Jeter and other members of the Indiana House of Representatives during the 2025 legislative session.

Sant'Anna, who graduated from Southport High School, is the daughter of Faye and Glenn Sant'Anna. She recently earned a degree in international studies with minors in Portuguese and Russian from Indiana University Bloomington.

"This internship has been a great opportunity to witness the legislative process and has fueled my desire to continue pursuing a career in government," Sant'Anna said.

During her internship, she is involved in tasks such as corresponding with constituents through various channels and assisting in committee hearings and floor proceedings.

"Julia is doing meaningful work this session as a legislative intern," Jeter noted. "Our interns provide important support to both members and constituents through session and help us achieve results for Hoosiers."

Each year, the House of Representatives offers paid internships to college students, law-school students, graduate students, and recent college graduates during the legislative session. More details about the House Republican internship program can be found at indianahouserepublicans.com/internship.

State Representative Chris Jeter represents House District 88, covering parts of Hamilton, Hancock, Madison, and Marion counties.
