André Carson, a U.S. Congressman representing Indiana's 7th district since 2008, has raised concerns on social media regarding recent government actions.

On March 31, 2025, Carson took to Twitter to address the Trump administration's decision to cut funding for Marion County’s free vaccination program. He mentioned the participation of Dr. Caine, Director of Marion Health, in his town hall to discuss the issue. Carson assured that he is cooperating with the Health Department to prevent service interruptions. He described the situation as "extremely" concerning.

In a subsequent tweet on the same day, Carson shared a link to a news article from @mirrorindy without providing further comment.

On April 1, 2025, Carson highlighted the critical importance of weather forecasting amidst severe weather and flooding. According to Carson, cuts proposed by DOGE to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) must be opposed, as NOAA's resources are crucial in keeping communities prepared and safe.
