André Carson criticizes Trump's policies and calls for reform

André Carson, a U.S. Congressman representing Indiana's 7th district since 2008, recently expressed his views on various political issues through a series of tweets. Carson has been an active voice in Congress, succeeding Julia Carson and previously serving on the Indianapolis City-County Council.

On March 5, 2025, Carson critiqued former President Donald Trump's economic policies by highlighting several concerns. Carson also shared his perspective on government efficiency versus business practices. On March 5, he tweeted that "We can always make our government more efficient, but trying to run government like a business is wrong. Businesses are built for profits.
