André Carson, a U.S. Congressman representing Indiana's 7th district, has been actively engaging with the public through his social media presence. On February 6 and 7, 2025, he shared updates on various issues concerning aviation safety, food recalls, and employment security for federal workers.

On February 6, Carson highlighted an ongoing hearing by the Transportation Democrats focused on drones and unmanned aerial vehicles. He emphasized the importance of "safety and reducing careless and unsafe operations" in this sector. The hearing was accessible to the public via a link provided in his tweet. "Happening now: @TransportDems aviation hearing on drones and unmanned aerial vehicles. We're focused on safety and reducing careless and unsafe operations."

Later that day, Carson issued a warning regarding a product recall affecting Walmart customers in Indiana and other states. He stated that broccoli sold at Walmart had been recalled due to potential listeria contamination, which could be deadly if consumed. He advised consumers to dispose of any purchased items immediately as per the guidance from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). "WARNING: Broccoli sold at Walmart has been recalled in Indiana and other states for possible listeria."

On February 7, Carson addressed concerns related to federal employment security amidst proposals involving high-profile figures Donald Trump and Elon Musk. He urged federal workers not to accept proposed buyouts, asserting that these individuals lack the legal authority to make such promises. Carson reaffirmed his commitment to protecting jobs for Indiana's 24,000 federal employees."I’ve been urging federal workers to hold out — do NOT take the proposed 'buyout.'"
