André Carson, a U.S. Congressman representing Indiana's 7th district, has been vocal on several issues through his social media presence. His recent tweets address topics ranging from international trade to domestic policy concerns.

On February 3, 2025, Carson announced a significant development in U.S.-Mexico trade relations. He stated, "BREAKING: Trump has paused tariffs on Mexico. This comes after I joined my Democratic colleagues pushing Trump and Sec. Rubio to avoid an unnecessary trade war with our ally that would raise costs for American families."

The following day, February 4, 2025, Carson highlighted the importance of USAID in the federal budget. He tweeted, "Fact check: USAID accounts for less than 1% of our total budget, but saves countless lives — including by reducing the risk of bird flu. USAID’s impact extends all the way to your grocery shelf."

Later that day, he issued a warning to federal workers regarding employment offers under the current administration. Carson cautioned against accepting certain proposals by stating, "FEDERAL WORKERS: Do not accept the proposed 'buyout.' Trump has a history of stiffing his contractors, and now he’s trying to do the same to you."
