The 2025 legislative session has commenced at the Statehouse in downtown Indianapolis. Over the next three months, lawmakers from across Indiana will focus on passing a balanced two-year state budget, protecting taxpayers, streamlining government processes, and empowering residents.

A key figure in this session is the chair of the House Local Government Committee, who also serves on the House Financial Institutions and House Roads and Transportation committees. These committees play a crucial role in evaluating bills through public testimonies and considering amendments.

Residents interested in tracking legislation authored or sponsored by their representatives can visit in.gov/h65 and click on "My Legislation." Expressing enthusiasm for returning to the Statehouse, one legislator stated: "I am excited to be back at the Statehouse and look forward to delivering real results for Hoosiers. I hope to hear from those throughout House District 65 so that I can best serve our communities." For further contact, constituents can visit in.gov/h65 or call 317-232-9764.
