Statehouse - House Speaker Todd Huston has expressed his appreciation for the judiciary's role in maintaining the rule of law and enhancing public safety within the state. Following the State of Judiciary, he acknowledged Chief Justice Rush's leadership and the judiciary's efforts.
"Our courts are a critical partner in upholding the rule of law and strengthening public safety in our state," Huston stated. He also commended Chief Justice Rush for her "steady hand and leadership" along with all judiciary members for their meaningful contributions to society.
Huston highlighted his pride in the judiciary's focus on supporting families and protecting children. He noted an increase in adoptions facilitated by the legal system as a positive development for Hoosier families.
House Speaker Todd Huston represents House District 37, covering part of Hamilton County.
