Applications are now open for the Indiana House Page Program during the 2025 legislative session at the Statehouse in Indianapolis, as announced by State Representative Matt Lehman (R-Berne).
Lehman stated that students from Indiana, aged 13 to 18, are invited to participate in a day of activities that include assisting lawmakers and staff, touring the Indiana Statehouse, and observing the legislative process.
"Student pages have the opportunity to meet local lawmakers and work with Statehouse staff during their visit," Lehman said. "The House Page Program is a great opportunity for young Hoosiers to learn more about Indiana government and how a bill becomes a law."
Applications are available on IndianaHouseRepublicans.com/PageProgram, along with information on available dates during the legislative session. The session begins on January 8 and concludes by April 29.
Students interested in participating can page on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. They will receive an excused absence from school for this purpose. Large groups can attend only on Wednesdays. For group scheduling, contact the page program director at 317-232-9410 or pageprogram@iga.in.gov.
Participants must arrange their own lunch and transportation to and from the Statehouse in Indianapolis.
