Applications are now open for the Indiana House Page Program during the 2025 legislative session at the Statehouse in Indianapolis. State Representatives Craig Haggard and Peggy Mayfield announced that Hoosier students aged 13 to 18 can apply to participate.

Haggard invited students to spend a day assisting lawmakers and staff, touring the Indiana Statehouse, and observing the legislative session. He stated, "I always enjoy meeting students from our area and sharing how the legislative process works. The page program is an enriching opportunity for Hoosier youth to get civically involved and interact with lawmakers."

Mayfield highlighted that applications are available online at IndianaHouseRepublicans.com/PageProgram, along with details of available days during the legislative session starting January 8 and ending by April 29. She said, "The House page program is a fantastic way for students to see government in action and engage with lawmakers. I encourage eligible students to apply and participate in this unique opportunity."

The program allows interested students to page on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays during the session. They will receive an excused absence from school for their participation. Large groups can attend on Wednesdays only by contacting the page program director at 317-232-9410 or via email at pageprogram@iga.in.gov.

Participants must arrange their own lunch and transportation to and from the Statehouse in Indianapolis.
