U.S. Senators Todd Young and Jim Banks, both representing Indiana, have opened the application process for several federal vacancies in the state. The positions available include roles within the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Indiana, as well as U.S. Attorney and U.S. Marshal positions for both the Southern and Northern Districts of Indiana.

Applications for the U.S. District Court position must be submitted by February 21, 2025. Meanwhile, candidates interested in serving as a U.S. Attorney or U.S. Marshal need to submit their applications by February 7, 2025.

Both senators encourage individuals to apply for multiple positions if they are interested in more than one role.

The President of the United States nominates individuals for these roles, with confirmation required from the U.S. Senate. This process is part of the constitutional duty where senators provide advice and consent on presidential nominations.
