Applications are now open for the Indiana House Page Program during the 2025 legislative session at the Statehouse in Indianapolis. This announcement comes from State Representatives J.D. Prescott of Union City and Elizabeth Rowray of Yorktown.

Prescott invites Hoosier students aged 13 to 18 to participate in this program, which involves assisting lawmakers and staff, touring the Indiana Statehouse, and observing the legislative session. "It’s always a highlight of session when local students serve as pages at the Statehouse," Prescott stated. He emphasized that this opportunity allows students to gain insight into the lawmaking process and understand how decisions affect their communities.

Interested students can find applications and available dates on IndianaHouseRepublicans.com/PageProgram. The legislative session begins on January 8 and concludes by April 29.

Rowray expressed enthusiasm about seeing future leaders engage with this initiative. "Students leave the page program with a better understanding of how the government serves them and their families," she said.

The program offers opportunities for students to page on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays during the session, with an excused absence from school provided. Large groups can participate on Wednesdays only by contacting the page program director at 317-232-9410 or via email at pageprogram@iga.in.gov.

Participants must arrange their own lunch and transportation to and from Indianapolis.

State Representative J.D. Prescott represents House District 33, covering all of Blackford and Randolph counties, along with parts of Delaware, Henry, and Jay counties.
