Applications are now open for the Indiana House Page Program for the 2025 legislative session at the Statehouse in Indianapolis. State Representatives Jack Jordan and Jake Teshka have invited students aged 13 to 18 to participate in this program.

Jordan stated, "Students who are interested in learning more about their state government should sign up to participate in the page program." He emphasized that young Hoosiers who engage civically through such opportunities often become future leaders.

Teshka highlighted that applications and available dates can be found on IndianaHouseRepublicans.com/PageProgram. The legislative session starts on January 8 and concludes by April 29. "Serving as a page for a day gets you a closer look at how our state government operates," Teshka remarked, noting that students will gain insight into legislative proceedings.

Students can participate on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays, receiving an excused absence from school. Large groups may attend on Wednesdays by contacting the page program director at 317-232-9410 or via email at pageprogram@iga.in.gov. Participants must arrange their own lunch and transportation to the Statehouse.

State Rep. Jack Jordan represents House District 17, which includes Fulton County and parts of Marshall and Pulaski counties.
