State Rep. Jack Jordan (R-Bremen) has been reappointed as chair of the House Ways and Means Committee's Budget Subcommittee. He will also serve on the House Family, Children and Human Affairs Committee and Government and Regulatory Reform Committee.

"This legislative session we'll work to keep Indiana fiscally responsible while helping Hoosiers save more of their paycheck," Jordan stated. "I encourage constituents to make their voices heard by contacting my office with questions or comments, and following session online or at the Statehouse."

House standing committee appointments are made by the Indiana House Speaker biennially after the November election and remain effective for members' two-year terms.

House lawmakers are set to convene at 1:30 p.m. on January 8 for the first day of the 2025 legislative session. Residents can visit iga.in.gov to access legislation, view calendars, and watch committee meetings and sessions.

Jordan urges constituents to visit in.gov/h17 to sign up for e-newsletter updates about activities at the Statehouse throughout the legislative session and beyond.
